Load a little bit on the brush
make little criss-cross strokes
happy little clouds
anybody can paint
a masterpiece
on canvas
little distant trees
in your world
you create any illusion
of mist and fog–
we tap and create
the misty area turns out to be
your very best friend
we don’t make mistakes
we have happy accidents
let’s have some fun
I like big old trees
Use vermilion
this is your bravery test
it’s a big old tree
but it’s a nice tree
you have to describe what lives here
it’s your world
you make all the decisions
I’ll put some happy little leaves here
That’s all…
drop these little rascals
here
you can move mountains
move rivers
at home
the only power I have
is the garbage
I take to the street
I like big trees
this is a monster tree
the evergreens are dark
it’s feeling good
you don’t know where to stop
here’s a happy little bush
he’s got a little bush friend
named Clyde
some rocks live here
some happy little rocks
the lake makes me want to fish
I like to fish
though I’m not a very good fisherman
I’d catch a little fish
take the hook out of its little mouth
put a little bandaid on it
give it some CPR
pat it on the too-too
and send it on its way
so I can catch it another day
let’s have a little lake path
that we can walk down
and catch the trout that lives in here
do one at a time
sometimes I get greedy
do one at a time
you can do this
I know you
you can show your friends and neighbors
your paintings, your creations
they don’t believe it
but you can paint
Here’s a little tree that lives here
it just has a good time
it talks to the fish
I’d like to wish you
happy painting
and God bless
my friend
