A beautiful walk through vineyards heavy with white, red, and purple grapes. Gradual climbs to the three castles— les Trois Châteaux. Now ruined and abandoned, they are the haven of swallows. Down below in Eguisheim is the nesting ground of storks – le parc des Cigognes . Got lost a couples of times. It took speaking in French and in German to re-route ourselves on the GR532. At the end of the day we found two storks hunting in the river.
